Getting Started
  1. 1) Compile a list of words.

Every search starts from a Favorite Keywords list — create one here (or import a file) before you build or run anything.

Every search starts from a Favorite Keywords list — a simple set of words you'll combine or transform later. Create a new one from scratch, or import a CSV/text file if you already have candidates lined up elsewhere.

You can also browse and reuse any of your existing lists, or the global lists everyone shares, from the Keywords page. A list you build once can be reused across as many searches or tools as you like — create one to get started.

  2. 2) Decide: Builder or Tools?

Builder crosses two Favorite Keywords lists together (every left word + every right word). Tools takes one word (or list) and transforms it 11 different ways (typos, leetspeak swaps, synonyms, etc.). Two lists to combine → Builder. One word to riff on → Tools.

Builder takes a left list and a right list and crosses every word from one with every word from the other — cloud + hostcloudhost, across every TLD you pick. Tools is 11 separate generators that each transform ONE word (or list) a different way: Mangle swaps in leetspeak-style substitutions, Typos mimics real fat-finger mistakes, Thesaurus swaps in synonyms, and so on.

Rule of thumb: two lists to cross → Builder. One word to riff on → Tools.

  3. 3) Click Builder, Tools, or start a New Search.

Domain Builder · Tools. Not sure which one has what you need? Type a keyword into the search bar at the top of the page — it jumps straight to the matching tool or search type.

Domain Builder · Tools. Not sure which one has what you need? Type a keyword into the search bar at the top of any page — e.g. type "mangle" to jump straight to the Mangle tool, or "single list" to jump to that Builder mode.

Prefer to measure one idea before generating a whole batch? Score a Word checks a single root against your top-weighted TLDs and shows the full scoring breakdown.

  4. 4) AI-assisted name suggestions Coming soon

The idea: suggest new name ideas automatically from a short description of what you're building — no API key, nothing to configure. Still just an idea at this stage; nothing here yet.

  5. 5) Monitor your searches.

Every search you run shows live progress on the Searches page.

Every search you run shows live progress on the Searches page — including Auto Mode (checks pending domains automatically in the background) and Recheck All (re-verifies a search's existing results later, since availability changes over time).

Star anything promising into Favorites so it's easy to find again, and browse every domain you've ever confirmed available from My Domains.

    What can I do here?
    • Transform one word or list many different ways — typos, mangling, a thesaurus swap, and more.
    • Looking to cross two lists together instead? Use Domain Builder.
    • Not sure which tool has what you need? Type a keyword into the search bar at the top of any page.
    • Every card below takes ONE word or Favorite Keywords list and generates variations from it — Mangle (character substitutions), Typos (common misspellings), Thesaurus (synonyms), and 9 others. Score a Word checks a single root's Domain Score instantly, with no Favorite Keywords list needed.
    • This is different from Domain Builder (/search/build), which crosses a LEFT list against a RIGHT list — every combination, across every TLD you pick.
    • The "Advanced mode" switch above changes the description shown on each card below (plain-language vs. the full technical explanation) — it's a different toggle from the Help Level control in the navbar, though both read/write the same saved preference.
